Based in Lancaster, north-west England, I document the cultures and communities that exist and thrive outside of the mainstream.

Coming from a resolutely working class background, I have always been drawn to the hidden spaces in society.

Grungy pub raves, dark tattoo studios, extreme sports; these places have all given me a home and a sense of belonging. I aim to document them with the tenderness they’ve shown me.
